I have more than 30 years of experience in financial planning, with a particular interest in retirement planning. I first earned a BS in engineering from Northeastern University. But my passion for financial planning and my desire to help people compelled me to become a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner in 1989. After another 4 years of intensive study, I earned a Master of Science with a concentration in retirement planning in 2000.
I’m as passionate as ever about my work. And I’m grateful for all my clients, including the large set of long-term clients for whom I believe I’ve played a pivotal role in helping them achieve their financial dreams.
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my wife, two sons, two dogs, and extended family and friends. I love reading and will happily swap book ideas with you. In addition, I follow the local sports teams here in Newburyport and in our Greater Boston region, and participate in outdoor activities — especially ocean sports.
I also support a number of charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
